My room was bright and compact with a huge period 4 poster as well as huge wooden beds, it accommodated me perfectly.

The central location of this place was great and it wasn't too far from a large medieval church nearby.

Charming and brilliant position, I appreciated staying in this place.
The stay here was fabulous for one night. The staff were lovely and were around whole time. Location: the hotel was not far from a beautiful medieval town centre, restaurants and the French ski resorts. Everything was simply great.

The characterful building and its central location and the friendly staff. The secure car park was a bonus.
There were road works just outside of the hotel during our stay which caused a layer of dust over everything. The carpets were old and tatty. These were minor irritations and understandable in the circumstances but worse was the lack of water pressure. A trickle of water at best and we were unable to shower or wash in the morning. The breakfast was overpriced for what it was. I would recommend this hotel to a friend but tell them to check the water and skip the breakfast.

Location, private parking, buffet breakfast, not very expensive.
Shower cubicle very small and very weak shower stream. Upon arrival after a long day of driving the welcome wasn't particularly friendly. Not very well sound-insulated but the baby next-door didn't cry during the night and the roadworks in front were quiet as it was a Saturday/Sunday stay.

In the centre of beautiful medieval Troyes in classic medieval house. Good breakfast.
Woken twice in the night by drunken revellers outside. No plug in sink.

Nice, basic hotel where we were made very welcome. Good central location although they were digging up the road outside when we visited. Should be v nice when that's all done. Breakfast was good for the price.

A bit hard to get to during the renovations of the town center and the hotel itself, but will be great when finished. Within easy walking distance of dining and site seeing. Folks at the hotel absolutely wonderful. If you like old buildings with their special quirks, you'll love this hotel. The roon was clean and comfortable. We will definitely return.
A bit more attention should have been paid to stockage of supplies and repairs in the bath/WC.
